Scholastic.com first in line with most consistent time in October

Scholastic.com in October generated a high broadband Internet backbone consistency time of 1.31 seconds, to lead all top 50 e-retailers, according to measurements from Gomez Inc.

Gomez analyzed availability and response time from the Internet’s distribution network, or backbone, which is another way for retailers to monitor web site performance.

Scholastic was followed by FTD.com at 1.39 seconds, CDW.com at 1.42 seconds, Apple.com at 1.55 seconds, BlueNile.com at 1.56 seconds and LLBean.com at 1.59 seconds.
